The UAE is Russia's largest trading partner in the Middle East and the Gulf region. Trade turnover for the year increased by 67.7%. The UAE is the largest investor in the Russian economy, investments in the non-oil sector (energy, infrastructure, advanced technologies, other areas) grew by 103% over the year.
