The Communist Party announced a statement on the suspension of the Russian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.

According to the correspondent of The Moscow Post, this will be said on February 14 at the Plenary Meeting of the State Duma. The news sounded from the mouth of the first deputy head of the Communist Party faction Nikolai Kolomeitsev.

According to him, the draft appeal "To the parliaments of the member states of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe" on the suspension of the participation of the permanent delegation in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly will be considered in the first item of the agenda.

In early February, Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the OSCE PA Alexander Volgarev spoke on this issue. Then he said in an interview with RBC that the Russian delegation would not take part in the traditional winter meeting of the assembly in Vienna.

A little earlier, the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov said that the next message of the President to the Federal Assembly would probably be announced at the end of this month. The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation did not rule out that this could happen from February 23 to March 8.
