Russian Foreign Ministry: Moscow sees as a threat the US State Department's statement on the need to stop the Arctic SPG-2

Russophobes disrupted the performance, despite the fact that the work of the group has nothing to do with politics. "Will any measures be taken to protect the legitimate interests of the citizens of our country?" - the question was asked.

Maria Zakharova noted that the Russian Foreign Ministry regularly takes steps to combat Russophobia and tells the media about it. If we are talking about compatriots or citizens who are in countries where Russophobic manifestations are recorded, then lawyers recommended by the Russian Foreign Ministry work.

Diplomats always accept information, you can send messages to diplomatic missions or consulates of Russia. Diplomats also conduct various work with compatriots - those who do not have Russian citizenship and Russian citizens who express a desire to move to the country due to acts of Russophobia.

In some cases, criminal cases are initiated when it comes to abuse of monuments, acts of vandalism against Russian property, when there is a violation of rights that cross the border of the law towards Russian citizens. The Russian Foreign Ministry defends the rights to preserve bilateral ties between business and cultural figures, everything is done through diplomatic lines. Somewhere everything succeeds, somewhere little succeeds, since the work of diplomats of the Russian Foreign Ministry is blocked.

"There are many problems, there is no ready-made solution. Definitely, Russophobia will be replaced by an awareness of the perniciousness of nationalism, but it is necessary to fight this now, without expecting a miracle to happen, "said the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

All facts must be fixed, systematized. When the next generations hear that, they say, "the West is on the side of good" - it will be something to remember. The story is written today. Russian diplomats are engaged in operational resolution of situations in a practical manner as a priority.

Another issue was raised by the Arctic LNG-2 project.

Washington said they would seek to stop the Arctic LNG-2 project. Speaking at a meeting of the US Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, US Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Jeffrey Pyatt said: "Our goal is to kill this project." The diplomat was asked to comment on this statement.

Maria Zakharova decided to ask Payette a counter question: "This time they will blow up, smash, break, what options are on the table"? The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry pointed out that this statement can only be qualified as a recognition of the United States that for them the destruction of civilian infrastructure projects in the energy sector is an absolute norm.

Maria Zakharova also pointed out that the statement is an "evidence base," which indicates that Western countries and, first of all, the United States are behind the undermining of the Northern Flows in one form or another.

It all started with similar statements by the country's president and the US State Department about the need to destroy projects. This entailed a disruption after six months. Now there are similar threats against the next infrastructure projects in the same area.

Another evidence point is about a project that levels some of the competitive advantages for the United States. Washington cannot achieve preferences in a competitive environment, and then destroys everything that prevents them from taking the lead. As was the case with Nord Streams. The United States failed to change energy cooperation between the EU and the Russian Federation, the country failed to change energy interaction on the European continent, which has been developing for decades. The US went by intimidation and implementing threats.

"This is a systematic approach of official Washington to the destruction of civilian infrastructure in the energy sector. Now we understand that these are not separate emotional statements of individual representatives, but a systematic approach of the United States as a state, "Maria Zakharova summed up.
