Today there was another briefing by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova. Traditionally, the correspondent of The Moscow Post asked his question.

The first question concerned the EU sanctions policy. The leaders of the G7 countries and the European Union have been imposing sanctions since the beginning of 2022, refusing ready-made projects and supplies of raw materials. That is, established ties destabilize. At the same time, Western politicians and the whole world blame all problems related to energy on Moscow. Fresh examples are the ceiling of oil prices, as well as an article by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz with passages about hydrocarbons as a weapon in the hands of Moscow.

"How can the Russian Foreign Ministry appreciate the" creativity "of Chancellor Scholz?," The journalist asked.

Maria Zakharova noted that the statements of the German side about the accumulating problems in the world energy are "convulsive."

The statements from Berlin are an attempt to somehow justify themselves in front of German citizens and their voters for the costs that they have to bear due to the mistakes of the German government.

Residents of Germany receive colossal bills for heating and electricity. Due to the increased costs, the country's economy is threatened with loss of competitiveness. Dozens of companies, in fact, are already thinking about fleeing the territory of Germany, transferring production and factories to the United States, which most benefit from the energy crisis in Germany, which was personally created by the country's authorities.

The situation is near-critical, so Scholz and the German energy minister are trying to blame Russia for its own mistakes. Apparently, the authorities want the population of Germany to forget about the formed refusal of nuclear and coal energy, about the boycott of imports of pipeline Russian oil, the price ceiling for it.

"That is, one hand makes actions that critically affect the state of the country's energy, and the second - stretches to the microphone to blame Russia for everything," said Maria Zakharova

Similar forgetfulness is observed in the plan of sanctions against Russian energy, which for decades supplied Germany with cheap energy resources. Berlin's silence has also been forgotten after sabotage on the Russian Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.

"Let them be responsible for their actions," the diplomat summed up.

Another issue was raised by the reformatting of international and interregional relations, which was discussed at a meeting of the councils of the heads of the subjects of the federation on November 18.

"What prospects do you see for Russia-North Korea relations? Who can give this relationship to the Primorsky Territory and other regions?, "The journalist asked.

Maria Zakharova recalled that the implementation of the potential of relations with the DPRK, including at the regional level, is now complicated due to the introduction of strict antiquated restrictions by the North Korean side. Mitigation should create the conditions for the restoration and further development of sustainable bilateral ties.
